ADELEKE UNIVERSITY CONVOCATES 277 STUDENTS



Adeleke University, a faith-based institution in Ede, Osun state has graduated a total of 277 students at its permanent campus on Sunday, 17th of July, 2016. The graduating class students, also known as the Class of Royals 2016 (COR' 16) graduated from the faculties of Business and Social Sciences, Arts, Sciences and Technology and Health Sciences.

There were a total of 23 students that finished with a First Class honours, in what happened to be the institution's second convocation ceremony, and the the best graduating student was Emurotu Andrew Eriabome from the Religious Studies department, in the faculty of Arts.




Distinguished personalities were also honoured with honorary degrees, and they include Adeleke University's council member, Chief (Mrs.) Modupe Adeleke-Sanni, the Timi of Ede-land,  Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal,  Elder Enoch Olaleye Dare, other council members Elder Ibekwe C. Egbuta and Mr. Ademola Adeeyo OON.



Other distinguished guests at the event are the minister of health, Professor Adewole, the pro-chancellor, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, the chancellor, Senator Isiaka Adeleke, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwole Amusan, the institution's former V.C, Prof Ayandiji Aina.

Others are the University's pastor's Pastor Olugbenga Efuntade, Vice-Chacellor of the University of Ibadan, Redeemer's University, Afe Babalola University, the former dean of the faculty of Business and Social Sciences, Dr. Sesan Asekun-Olarinmoye, the North-Western Union president of S.D.A Church, Pastor (Dr.) Oyeleke Owolabi, Pastor Joseph Ola, Pastor and Pastor (Dr.) Mrs. Olaore, deans and heads of departments at the university.

Emurotu finished with a total CGPA of 4.85.
