Senate Will Do More Thorough Screening – Melaye

The Senate chairman on media and publicity, Dino Melaye has said that the house will henceforth conduct a more thorough screening for the ministerial nominees as from Tuesday, 20th October.

He made this known while speaking to senate house correspondents at the senate villa on Tuesday.

He said, ”the senate has decided that from now, we will only be screening between three and four nominees every day, this is because we listened to the agitations of some Nigerians that we were not taking enough time in questioning the nominees that we have screened previously”.

It would be recalled that 10 ten nominees were screened on the first screening day, on Tuesday and 8 people the second day Wednesday, 13th and 14th October.
